Used and accepted throughout the broadcast industry.
SDI transmits 720P and 1080P resolution over coaxial cable, uncompressed and non-packetized. Just like analog, SDI starts streaming out of the source line by line to a receiver with no latency. SDI is based on the work of SMPTE for the broadcast industry.
There is no additional training required because there is no difference between an analog and HDCCTV installation. An installer simply uses coax and replaces the existing analog camera and DVR with the HDCCTV DVR and cameras. This allows installers to offer HD resolution without having to learn IP and networking, making this a seamless and realistic transition to HD.

HDCCTV
This is a new alternative to IP. HDCCTV offers 1280 X 720 resolution over standard coax. It uses serial digital interface (SDI) transmission. Our HDDVR achieves 30 FPS live viewing/recording/playback on all four cameras; IP cannot achieve this. There is zero learning curve for the installation and use of HDCCTV. You keep the coax in
Analog Cameras Darkview Series
Minimal Light Amplifying Technology Darkview’s technology senses the amount of light present and amplifies it for a viewable color picture. This allows you to substitute Darkview cameras for IR cameras in situations where there is only a minimal amount of either natural or a man-made light source present. With minimum lux as low as 0.0001, you now have the ability to see clearer in the dark.
